Thank you very much for participating in the meeting earlier this week, and in your support for having me contribute as president for the next year. I look forward to making the club and its members more active; so please make recommendations when you see a chance for an activity that you think will interest us. From the Jun 24th zoom meeting I picked up that we need get get going on making some of the items on the calendar a "reality" - I will reach out to the winery owner we visited last year in June and see if we can get out there in the next few weeks. I will hold a club leadership meeting in the next week or so to try to get us all motivated. I know we need to update out calendar of events with more input and actual announcements on how we should start participating. I suggested that some activities could be led by "lieutenants" - by which I meant someone appointed (volunteered?) to lead an event, get and manage the details, and then have the club's communications team publicize and get the participants collected, so the event takes off successfully. If you have an idea, please bring it forward - I think we will all be surprised by the number of people willing to show up and have a good time with other club members.
