Please add notes from tonight's meeting in the comments. My notes are as follows: 1. John is looking to divest himself of some, but maybe not all of his current duties that include, but not limited to: Club President (Move a new president in the near future); Chief Judge (I'm not clear if John is Ok keeping this); Concours chair (someone (maybe Doug) indicated an interest); Slalom organizer (again someone indicated an interest) 2. There was unanimous agreement that John had done a marvelous job steering the club for many years and especially during the troubles that Covid presented to the club. 3. Greg Furst put his hat in the ring for president, but I was unclear if there needs to be a vote or if we need to see if others are interested in the role before Greg can be inaugurated. (comments would be helpful) Thank you Greg for offering your services. 4. John had contacted Bill Owen about using the web site as a vehicle to improve communication between members. As we are trying with this Post and hopefully subsequent comments, we are trying to use the forum as a vehicle for collaborative discussion. Again, comments on its usefulness would be appreciated.
