Any ideas for where to drive a little faster

Hello all. I just joined the club after buying my 71 e-type last July. Love everything about this car, and I'd like to drive it a little faster. Do any of you know of race tracks that allow that, or auto-cross events in our area. Thanks for the help. Ben

Ben, welcome to the club. I hope we can provide you a good variety of events to participate in this year. There is a track at Summit Point , but there are some restrictions on car condition , We did pick up some speed during our very successful Loudoun County Prowl last year, but that is a way off. At the upcoming slalom you may feel like your are picking up some speed, but on a small closed circuit. Let's see what responses you get from other members and maybe that will give us some hints on an event we can schedule. The current event calendar is posted on the website. Greg Furst, President

NCJOC History Thread

Looking to assemble and share some history of NCJOC. Anyone care to share their memories of the "early days"in the club and the folks (past/present) who were active at the time? Old photos from events? Memories of the people and their cars? Memorable excursions? Feel free to chime in with your recollections!

How do you keep warm when working on your car outside in the winter?

One thing I like is to use a propane heater--even in the outdoors it's awesome at warming up me, the car, and the whole driveway area!
